About
How Denver Tow Desk works
Denver Tow Desk is a referral service for Denver and the cities around it. We are not a towing company. We don't own trucks or send drivers. When you get in touch, we pass the request to one independent towing company that works your area. That company calls you, prices the job and does it.
Who pays us
The towing company pays us for the introduction. You pay us nothing. We don't set its prices, and we don't take a cut of your bill.
What we ask of the company we refer you to
- A legal business name, given on the phone and printed on the bill.
- A current towing carrier permit from the Colorado Public Utilities Commission, with the number given on request.
- One total price before the truck rolls, with every fee in it.
- An itemized bill on request, as Colorado law requires.
- The car goes where you ask it to go.
If a job falls short of that list, text us at (720) 868-9271.
Why Colorado is different
Colorado doesn't license towing companies, but it does require a PUC permit, and since 2022 state law has given drivers real protections after a tow from a private lot. Read them in plain English.
Who writes this
The guides are written by John Voll. He is not a tow operator. He reads the sources and says where each number came from, and every guide lists them at the end.
